Through this partnership, we’ve planted 900+ trees across six impactful projects, including Rewilding the Appalachians, restoring degraded land in Brazil, and reforestation in the UK and Australia.
What is reforestation and what does it mean to CloudRock?
Reforestation restores land once covered by forests, reversing the damage of deforestation. At Cloudrock, we support projects that plant native trees and collaborate with local communities for sustainable impact. This not only restores ecosystems but also benefits wildlife and people.

We’re proud to support a transformative five-year reforestation project along the Appalachian Trail through Ecologi.
Led by One Tree Planted, this project focuses on replanting trees in areas impacted by mining, logging, and agriculture. The goal is to restore ecosystems and improve water quality for local communities.
Beyond environmental benefits, this initiative creates much-needed jobs in regions affected by poverty, providing sustainable livelihoods. Conservation practices ensure these forests are preserved and protected for years to come.

Mozambique, located along the Indian Ocean, has seen much of its rich mangrove forests destroyed due to deforestation for firewood and charcoal. Through our partnership with Ecologi, we’re supporting efforts to restore these vital ecosystems.
With around 68% of Mozambique’s population living in rural areas, and many relying on subsistence farming, environmental degradation has worsened. Ongoing conflicts in the region have displaced thousands and increased the strain on local resources.
By restoring mangroves, this project helps rebuild ecosystems, support communities, and create a more sustainable future for Mozambique.

This initiative focuses on restoring vast areas of degraded land in the Minas Gerais region, a key area for biodiversity.
By encouraging natural forest regrowth, the project not only captures significant amounts of COâ‚‚ but also helps combat land degradation and supports the recovery of local ecosystems.
This project aligns with multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals, making it a powerful step toward a more sustainable future for Brazil and the planet.

We are proud to support reforestation projects in New South Wales, Australia.
This initiative focuses on creating wildlife corridors by planting 50,000 trees, which will reconnect fragmented habitats for koalas.
With koala populations threatened by deforestation and bushfires, these corridors are essential for their survival.
By restoring these habitats, the project not only helps koalas thrive but also enhances biodiversity, boosts ecosystem recovery, and absorbs COâ‚‚ from the atmosphere.
