What we did

So we embedded our change and training specialists into the heart of the programme and stayed there for two years. Working shoulder to shoulder with HR and Finance, we created more than 200 change assets, delivered 190 hours of training, and coached leaders and their teams through every step of the move.

A decade-old deployment, re-energised.

The problem

Their platform had been live for more than ten years, and like many long-running deployments it had quietly slipped into maintenance mode. Tickets were closed, but the bigger opportunities went begging, and a little more value leaked away with every passing year.

What we did

We changed the relationship. For two years now we've worked as part of the team rather than a help desk, managing releases, fine-tuning the configuration, keeping data and security tight, and building custom extensions that push the platform further. We also coached the team to run their own onboarding journeys and learning.

The outcome

A decade-old deployment now performs like something far newer, and the team has the confidence to lead its own projects, calling on us when it counts rather than only when something breaks.

One project became a global rollout.

The problem

It started small, with a single payroll project in the UK. But a much bigger ambition sat behind it: a global platform rollout still to come, and thousands of employees who would need dependable support every single day.

What we did

We earned our way into each next step. From that first project we went on to roll the platform out end to end across new countries, from Australia to New Zealand to Finland and beyond, while running daily support for more than 5,000 employees. The same team carried it from build into support, so nothing was lost in the handover, and our Review and Recommend work set the blueprint every new country now follows.

One payroll project grew into a global rollout, the move from build to support stayed seamless, and every new market now launches on a proven, optimised template.

They had been burned once already. Their first programme had run behind schedule and over budget, and with a core HR platform now on the line, a repeat was the last thing they could afford.

What we did

So they brought us in early, well before any build began. Our Phase 0 readiness work got the foundations right, and we stayed hands on through Phase 1, advising alongside their chosen implementation partner to keep everything on track.

The problem

Back in 2016 the airline went live with a minimum viable product. Old habits were lifted straight into the new system, much of its out of the box value sat untouched, and over the years that followed fourteen releases came and went with the impact never measured.

What we did

We spent 18 months getting under the bonnet. Through a series of Review and Recommend studies and optimisation discoveries, we mapped exactly where the value was hiding and built a clear, costed case for change.

The problem

The platform had been live across the business since 2020, but it had never really delivered. Processes varied from team to team, adoption was low, knowledge was patchy, and governance was weak.

What we did

We built a roadmap to turn it around. We streamlined recruitment, put a clear governance and process ownership model in place, created a network of key users, and wrapped it all in a change and adoption framework built to last. Then we ran masterclasses so the team could carry it forward themselves.
